Cymbidium hartinahianum with common name anggrek Tien Soeharto or anggrek hartinah is an endemic orchid to North Sumatra, Indonesia. Seed germination of C. hartinahianum by in vitro in Tissue Culture Laboratories Bogor Botanical Gardens from 2004 until now is one of the effort to keep the germplasm collection available and conservation purpose. Knudson C were used as the basic medium for propagation and enlargement of C. hartinahianum, with various additions of organic and non-organic. Based on the natural habitat this species needs cold temperature and higher light condition. In vitro propagation and the acclimatization in greenhouses for C. hartinahianum has to be done to test their adaptation on the natural condition. Warta Kebun Raya, Vol.12, No.1, Mei 2013.
